Study in Prague, UMPRUM and the National Gallery cordially invite you to a guided tour of the Convent of St. Agnes of Bohemia and its beautiful sculpture garden.

Wednesday 30th October 2019 from 3.50 p.m.

Meeting point: 3.45 pm in front of the entrance to the gallery, U Milosrdných 17, Prague 1


The tour is open for all foreign students studying in Prague, max. capacity is 30 people, the entry is free of charge.


 This time our guided tour will focus on Czech mediaeval art and the contemporary art of sculpture. We will visit beautiful ghotic convent that is hidden in the centre of Prague Old Town. We will inform you about Czech gothic and early Renaisance art and show authentic environment of the first convent of the Poor Clares in Bohemia, probably founded in 1231 by St Agnes of Bohemia, the daughter of Přemysl Otakar I, including also an enchanting sculpture garden. You will get also information about the programme Anežka Life, that you can enjoy whole year.
