NIKA Gallery, Metro B Karlovo náměstí hall (direction Palackého náměstí)
As a part of the cooperation between Humpolecká 8SMIČKA and NIKA, UMPRUM’s small gallery, students and graduates of art schools in Vysočina were given the opportunity to present their work in this atypical exhibition space, located in the lobby of the Prague metro below Palacký Square. The exhibition is a part of the accompanying program of the exhibition Molds, Hills and Highlands: The Loners of Vysočina (8.6. – 29.9.2019).
Eliška Hanušová of UMPRUM and Hana Sommerová of AVU studied together in high school in Helenín and the Vysočina region became their focal point for their exhibition in Nika Gallery, which uses textile materials to create a reminiscence of the landscape in the busy vestibule space of the subway.
