Josephine Pryde: A Brush With Turner

In this illustrated talk, Josephine Pryde will be discussing her recent work from the solo exhibitions These Are Just Things I Say, They Are Not My Opinions (2014) and lapses in Thinking By the person i Am (2015/16), and how she approached exhibiting this work again in the context of the Turner Prize exhibition at Tate Britain, 2016.
Josephine Pryde is an artist. Since 2008, she has been Professor for Zeitgenössische Kunst und Fotografie at the Universität der Künste Berlin. Students from this class are currently working on a cooperative project with the working title Land Art, Common Land together with students from the class of Dominik Lang and Edith Jeřábková at the AAAD in Prague. Pryde currently has an exhibition together with Marilyn Thompson, Traces of Accessibility, at Goton gallery in Paris. Her catalogue The Enjoyment of Photography was published in 2015.
