Offer for students from Belarus
The Academy of Arts, Architecture, and Design in Prague (UMPRUM), like other Czech universities, is offering Belarusian students persecuted by the authoritarian regime and those concerned about continuing their studies in Belarus the opportunity to study at UMPRUM.
Presently, the school does not have the means to award scholarships to students from Belarus, but it will use the financial support of the Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sports of the Czech Republic and will negotiate the admission of Belarusian students based on different admission conditions.
The Rector of the Academy of Arts, Architecture, and Design in Prague has already informed the Ambassador of the Czech Republic in Belarus about this offer and basic information about the possibility of studying at UMPRUM has been published in Czech, Belarusian and Russian on the Embassy in Minsk website. www.mzv.cz/minsk.
Belarusian applicants and students that are interested do not need to be fluent in the Czech language, but we assume that students will acquire communication skills in Czech during their first year of study.
We ask potential applicants to inform the foreign coordinator as soon as possible about their interest in studying at the Academy of Arts, Architecture, and Design in Prague via e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Those interested in studying in the Czech language from among the graduates of secondary art schools can apply for the announced admission procedure.
More information about the procedure and conditions of admission in the Czech language at https://www.umprum.cz/web/cs/studium/prijimaci-rizeni.
There will be regular updates on information about the negotiation of exceptional application conditions.
