Students and graduates of the Academy of Arts, Architecture, and Design (UMPRUM) in the Homo Faber Guide.
Selected graduates, students, and teachers of UMPRUM have become part of the prestigious Homo Faber Guide. Included are, for example, Milan Pekař, a teacher of the Ceramics and Porcelain Studio, Klára Horáčková, a teacher from the Glass Studio, and František Jungvirt, a student also from the Glass Studio.
The Academy of Arts, Architecture, and Design in Prague has been cooperating with the Michelangelo Foundation for Creativity and Craftsmanship since 2017. It is an international non-profit organization that strives to strengthen and further develop crafts in today's world of design. One of its goals is to support and publicize the profiles of individual artists, and designers using traditional crafts.
The latest feat of the Michelangelo Foundation is the Homo Faber Guide, which introduces individual artists and tracks their activities through social networks. The guide was launched on September 17th, and in addition to many foreign artists, you can also get acquainted with a group from UMPRUM.
