Conservation-restoration of Applied Arts


A NEW STUDY PROGRAMME IS TO BE OPENED IN ACADEMIC YEAR 2025/2026

Conservation-restoration of applied arts is a professional study program for follow-up master's studies.

It offers a unique and innovative interdisciplinary approach to students with a passion for cultural heritage and an interest in combining theory with practice in their studies and subsequent careers.

Teaching is object-oriented and is based on practical studio teaching, specialized interships, and theoretical subjects covering materials, chemical technology, methodology, and art history.

    maximum number of students per year: 5
  • material focus: textiles, silicates, base and precious metals
  • compulsory professional conservation-restoration practice
