For the sixteenth time, one of UMPRUM's most popular events is opening its doors again UMPRUMSHOP. Enjoy slow shopping and the joy of small discoveries. Look forward to a vibrant selection of original clothing, jewelry, accessories, ceramics, prints, and interior design pieces. The focus is on originality, quality, and sustainability.
A new expanded concept built on a personal approach
As every year, UMPRUMSHOP connects the work of students across the studios of the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague (UMPRUM). However, this year, alongside the traditional UMPRUMSHOP—where a student team manages the sale of selected products—a brand-new UMPRUM MARKET is being introduced: a space for direct sales and personal encounters with the creators themselves.
Visitors will have the chance to meet the designers in person, glimpse into their creative process, and take home gifts that carry not only aesthetic but also human value.

“We want to create a space for real encounters,” says Adéla Greta Holušková, a student of the Fashion Design Studio and one of the event organizers. “UMPRUMSHOP has always been powered by student energy, but this year’s format takes the concept a step further—opening room for personal contact, shared experiences, and an authentic creative atmosphere.”

The project was initiated by the Fashion Design Studio and over the years has become a beloved pre-Christmas tradition at Prague’s UMPRUM. UMPRUMSHOP is more than just a holiday market—it’s a meeting point of generations, ideas, and perspectives on design.
This year, it gives even more space to young designers at the beginning of their journeys—and to everyone who wants to support meaningful gifts with a story.
