Student Grant Competition

CRITERIA

1) Doctoral Students

Research projects may be submitted by students enrolled in a doctoral study programme.
A supervisor of the dissertation must always be a member of the research team; their written and signed statement must be attached to the electronic application.
The application must comply with the Principles of the Student Grant Competition (see “PRINCIPLES OF THE STUDENT GRANT COMPETITION” below).
The applicant must be a student throughout the entire duration of the project as well as at the time of submission.
The project duration is one year. If the student is in the final year of their studies, the implementation period is shortened until the date of study completion.
The applicant may use a maximum of 20% of the project budget for their personal expenses.

2) Master’s Students

Exceptionally, research projects may also be submitted by students enrolled in a master’s study programme.
The guarantor and at the same time the main project investigator must be an academic staff member of UMPRUM, whose written and signed statement must be attached to the electronic application.
The application must comply with the Principles of the Student Grant Competition (see “PRINCIPLES OF THE STUDENT GRANT COMPETITION” below).
The applicant must be a student throughout the entire duration of the project as well as at the time of submission.
The project duration is one year. If the student is in the final year of their studies, the implementation period is shortened until the date of study completion.
The applicant may use a maximum of 20% of the project budget for their personal expenses.
