Summer 2026
Finalising the strategic documents

In cooperation with the Steering Committee and the Working Group, we are finalising the HR strategy, the GAP analysis and the Action Plan, which are based on the results of the questionnaire survey, the analysis of internal documents and discussions with staff. These documents set the priorities for the development of UMPRUM´s working environment over  the next two years and, once approved, will be submitted to the European Commission as part of the application for the HR Excellence in Research award.

Spring 2026
Analysis and follow-up discussions

We are sharing the survey results with staff and using them as a basis for follow-up discussions. At the same time, an analysis of internal documents is underway to provide a  comprehensive view of institutional practices and identify areas for further development (GAP analysis).

Winter 2025–2026
Questionnaire survey among staff

A total of 139 staff members took part in the survey on working conditions (a response rate of 57.4%). The results provide a clear picture of our strengths and areas requiring further development and form part of the evidence base for the GAP analysis and preparation of the Action Plan.

During this period we are also formally establishing the Steering Committee and Working Group forthe HR Excellence in Research project.

Late summer 2025
UMPRUM joined the HR Excellence in Research initiative

On 28 August 2025, UMPRUM formally endorsed the principles of the European Charter for Researchers by signing an institutional commitment (Endorsement Letter). The European Commission subsequently confirmed UMPRUM´s participation by issuing a Commitment Letter, thereby initiating the process leading to the HR Excellence in Research award.
