Principles of the European Charter
The European Charter for Researchers is based on four main pillars.
These pillars comprise a total of 20 specific principles that define a quality working environment for researchers and support their professional development. The Charter principles form the basis of the HR Excellence in Research project and are reflected in the measures being prepared at UMPRUM.

The European Charter defines four main areas of support for researchers:
Research is conducted freely and responsibly, in accordance with ethical principles and with respect for equal opportunities and the open sharing of knowledge.
Transparent rules for recruiting and assessing researchers support fair career development.
The university creates an environment that supports quality research, creative activity and equal working conditions.
The university supports the professional growth of researchers through education, mentoring and international cooperation.
