The Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague announces the Student Grant Competition for the support of student research projects for 2026.
Submission of Projects:
Project proposals, together with the required attachments (student CV, project budget, supervisor’s statement for doctoral students / studio head’s statement for other students), must be submitted via the web application https://projekty.umprum.cz from 14 November 2025 to 15 December 2025, 23:59. Applications submitted after the deadline will not be accepted.

Applicants log in to the system using their institutional username and password. Attachments requiring a signature (supervisor’s statement for doctoral students / project guarantor’s statement for master’s students) must be physically signed, scanned, and uploaded in the final section of the application.

Basic information about the project guarantor – to be completed by master’s students (the guarantor is also the principal investigator – a member of UMPRUM academic staff)

Basic information about the dissertation supervisor – to be completed by doctoral students

Project objectives and content (50–1000 words)

Description of methodology and work plan (50–1000 words)

Expected outputs and results for RIV – according to the Methodology for Evaluating Research and Development Outputs of the Research and Development Council (see documents “RIV – List of Outputs”)

Detailed budget commentary (following the required “Budget” attachment)

The list of projects supported in 2026 will be published on the UMPRUM website by 15 February 2026. Selected applicants will also be informed electronically.
