Anna Jožová, a student of the Glass Studio, presents her latest LUMA vases at the EDIT Napoli show in Italy.
EDIT Napoli is an innovative design show that supports, publicizes, and celebrates the new generation of designers. It focuses on designers and creators who stand out from the traditional concept of the production and distribution chain.
EDIT Napoli selects a specific group of international independent manufacturers, craftsmen, and enlightened manufactories who appear as an autonomous force in contemporary design.
Anna Jožová presents herself here with three vases from the LUMA author's collection. These are hand-blown black-crystal vases, which were created by combining solid glass with copper fibers. A fascination with a flash in the dark is the elemental inspiration for this project. The copper wrapped around the glass deforms the shape and thus creates a specific optical impression while forming in the glass blowing studio.
