The K.O.V. Studio cordially invites you to a lecture by designer François Chambard, who will present his work and approach to design. The talk will also serve as an introduction to a five-day workshop led by François Chambard for students of the K.O.V. Studio.
The lecture will be held in English.
François Chambard is a designer and educator working at the intersection of architecture, craft, and material research. Through his studio, UM Project, and the initiative unblock.space, he focuses on experimental approaches to production and sustainable design, often in collaboration with local communities.
In his work, he combines traditional techniques with innovation, exploring new ways of designing and sharing knowledge in a global context. He has also maintained a long-term collaboration with Parsons School of Design in New York, where he has led studios focused on experimental design and fabrication.
