Graduate profile
Our graduates are conservators-restorers with the highest qualifications in the field of conservation-restoration of works of art made of textiles, silicates, and base and precious metals.
After successfully completing their studies, graduates will receive the title MgA. with an indication of their specialization and will meet the professional qualifications for applying for a Permit for the Restoration of Cultural Monuments from the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic, under the designation 3g.
Graduates of the follow-on master's program in Conservation-Restoration of Applied Arts are prepared for a professional career as conservators-restorers in private and institutional practice, as well as in specialist positions in public and private memory institutions (e.g., collection management, museum management), in the field of monument care, in state and public administration offices, and in the non-profit sector (e.g., administration of cultural heritage protection and sustainability, consulting, cultural education). Graduates will find wide application in the academic and scientific-research sphere in the field of care, interpretation, and material research of works of art and crafts.
Practical projects will provide professional experience in a specific environment, provide our students the opportunity to experience the practical functioning of memory institutions, and ethical and legislative standards for the work of conservators-restorers of works of art and applied arts.
