UMPRUM in cooperation with Gallery VI PER will present the initiative and screen the film House Europe! The event will take place with guests Jakub Herza, teacher of the Studio of Architecture I and Klára Peloušková, coordinator of the new platform Shift.
HouseEurope! is an initiative that brings together institutions, citizens and community groups in Europe to find a way to sensibly and positively favour and prioritise renovation over demolition in today's construction industry. The initiative aims to develop effective EU legislation to facilitate the renovation and conversion of existing buildings, promoting their affordability and social accessibility. Many architectural studios, public and private institutions and thousands of citizens have already joined the initiative.
