ARTSEMESTR Winter 2019
In January, before the official display of semester and final projects, at UMPRUM there is creating happening basically non-stop. Nervousness and the tempo of work increase before critique day, and students are finishing their final assigned projects. How well they did in this year's semester, visitors can see for themselves starting on the 25th until the 29th of January at ARTSEMESTR winter 2019.
ARTSEMESTR Winter 2019
(25th January to 29th January 2019)
ARTSEMESTR is a regular event that showcases the semester and final exam work of UMPRUM students. All students present the results of their studies at the end of each semester. ARTSEMESTR was first established in 2004 by the then rector Prof. Jiří Pelcl. The students exhibit their work in the places they were originally created – in the school’s studios, classrooms and hallways.
Theme of the Studio of Architecture IV
1st year: Concept; construction; Disposition; 2nd - 3rd year: Rental housing in Bráník; 4 - 5th year Water // Final: 1st year: Intervention in city planning., Others: Maximum minimal dwellings per minimum parcel.
