Aim of study

Doctoral graduates from the Visual Art program should be theoretically grounded professionals in a wide range of fields of creative work. Depending on the chosen field, the doctoral graduate will become an expert with the prerequisites for research and innovative work in the areas of architecture and design, fine and applied arts or graphic design. The combination of artistic creative work and theoretical critique allows graduates to find application primarily in the areas of cultural management and applied research. Other important areas of potential application are teaching activities in art schools and organizational or curatorial activities. The graduates may also influence the level of art culture and lifestyle design as independently acting, creative personalities.
