Material Science

The basis of Material Science is the subject History and Theory of Materials. It offers students an understanding of the material world around us. It provides insight into interpretations and the origins of materials, how they work, how they blend into our everyday lives, and what they say about us.

It introduces the basic aspects of material science and aims to explain the complex relationships between the structure, properties, and macroscopic behavior of selected materials that we encounter in our work or in everyday life.
