Material and theory platform

Platform is an interdisciplinary hub for information, activities, and projects in the field of arts and crafts materials, their composition, research, and conservation-restoration methodology.

It is divided into four basic areas: Material Science, Techniques and Technologies, Science Modul and Methodology and History of Conservation-Restoration.

Each section provides a basic introduction to the subjects for students in the KRUD master's program and all UMPRUM students interested in objects of applied arts and their material essence, character, processes of degradation, sustainability, etc., as well as ongoing projects in these areas.
