Success at Antwerp Poster Festival

This year's second Antwerp Poster Festival focused on type design and typography. It followed this broad topic and focused on the various approaches of graphic designers to type and typography. Based on the call for participants, they received a respectable 2,107 entries from 75 different countries. The festival jury then selected the 50 best applicants for the next exhibition, including graphic artists from the Academy of Arts, Architecture, and Design in Prague. The posters are then displayed in the streets of Antwerp and presented in the festival catalog.

Matěj Vojtuš submitted a poster intended for the LOM experimental space in Bratislava. Specifically, it is intended for sound listening events of contemporary experimental musicians and field recording artists. Matěj worked with the sounds of water in his poster. https://space.lom.audio/about

Jiří Mocek was selected with a poster for the Kaiser KVIFF project, which promotes a pop-up club with an accompanying program as a part of the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival (KVIFF) from 2019. The club is run by Bigg Boss music and book publishing house. The second poster was designed for the Dutch festival PLOKTA, focusing on the relationship between society and technology. The multi-day, primarily documentary film festival takes place in Amsterdam and has long-term cooperation with Jiří Mocek.
