Governmental scholarships are granted on the basis of inter-governmental agreements. International students are advised to ask for up-to-date information at the embassies of the Czech Republic in participating countries. A preliminary letter of acceptance is a necessary precondition for the admission process. The applicants should follow the UMPRUM instructions to receive this letter.

UMPRUM provides guidance for international students how to find a suitable accommodation. Students themselves arrange their health insurance while staying in the Czech Republic.
