Project summary:
The project focuses on designing functional solutions for vehicles and transportation systems. The task of the research team is to create shape and conceptual designs for the exterior, interior of vehicles and services to solve new problems. Industrial design works purposefully with the conclusions of other disciplines and tries to use and advance them within the field or even beyond it.
Who were our partners?
Representatives of the UMPRUM as the main project researcher, representatives of Škoda Group a.s. and the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the Czech Technical University as other project participants will participate in the project.
What were the results of this project?
The project outputs used creative experimental design methods to develop solutions for autonomous vehicles, new designs for the interior, exterior, or even the service and infrastructure of the autonomous transport system. These new solution methods were presented as part of the exhibition.
One of the goals of the project is to initiate a societal debate on the new problems of autonomous vehicles and to find solutions to them.
