Alice Grebáčová, a student of the Fashion and Footwear Studio, and Alžběta Drcmánková, a student of the Textile Studio, represented UMPRUM at a two-week international workshop Makerspace in Schneeberg, Germany. The creative residency took place from September 1st to 13th and was organized under the umbrella of the Fashiontex project.
The selected students had a unique opportunity to develop one fashion piece both digitally and physically, using the state-of-the-art facilities and technologies of WHZ University.
Under expert guidance from professionals in digital fashion, technology, and materials, they gained new skills and valuable experience.
Thanks to the participation of students from partner universities across Europe, they also built new international connections.
The final projects of all participants will be showcased on November 6–7 at Die Fabrik in Chemnitz, Germany, during the FASHIONTEX festival.
