We have successfully concluded the FashionTex Open Day. On Monday, June 8, as part of the exhibition Artsemester summer 2026, we presented the missions, goals, and activities of the FashionTex project, our digital education curriculum, and specific student projects. Coordinator Viera Devečková and lecturer Kateřina Škarabelová prepared two presentations, introducing the public to the educational model for digital fashion design and the software in which students gain hands-on experience.
Visitors had the opportunity to view photo documentation of project activities, such as the Makerspace Schneeberg, FashionTex Festival Chemnitz, and the Hologram Fashion Show in Amsterdam.
The presentation was also attended by students Alica Grebáčová from the Studio of Fashion and Footwear Design and Alžběta Drcmánková from Studio of Textile, who represented UMPRUM at the two-week Makerspace Schneeberg workshop and shared their experiences with the project with the visitors.
FashionTex project is co-funded by the European Union
