NEORITUALS: Lecture Series

In a rapidly changing world, the relationship between society and architecture has been undergoing significant shifts. Architecture has long served as a reflection of societal values, housing our rituals, norms, and cultural patterns. However, contemporary society is evolving at a pace that often leaves architecture out of sync with the spaces it occupies. Some aspects of our lives are misaligned with the built environment, and architecture can even perpetuate systemic inequalities in our society.

At the Studio Architecture II: Future Architectures Platform, we believe in the power of architecture to adapt and respond to the changing needs of society. We see architecture as a platform for societal change, one that should be continuously attuned to the evolving needs, values, and rituals of our contemporary world. This studio is dedicated to the thoughtful examination and creative exploration of new architectural propositions that reflect and facilitate a more free and equitable society.
