The New Real 25 Summer Course is a 8-day intensive program for fashion professionals, digital creators and design students to develop their skills in digital fashion prototyping and its application. The course is designed to accommodate both beginners and advanced participants. The curriculum includes learning the basics of CLO3D and additionally some bits of Adobe Suite Applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, Substance Painter) and Blender. Practical workshops are combined with inspiring talks from industry professionals who are successfully working in this field. Participants learn skills they can later apply in this fast-growing area of digital craftsmanship.

• Digital pattern making and prototyping

• Import & export of patterns

• Avatar sizing and posing

• Virtual material development and texturing

• Trims and closures

• Rendering & presentation

Ineke Siersema

MA-qualified lecturer and trainer specializing in 3D Digital Fashion Design and Technology. With 25 years of teaching experience at AMFI, develops curriculum and serves as consultant for 3D fashion design and prototyping programs. Committed to creating synergies between academia and the fashion industry.

 

Žil Vostalová

Visual Artist | Fashion Researcher | Digital Design Specialist. Her research focus is investigating the convergencies of traditional crafts and digital garment technologies, postcolonial materiality in digital fashion infrastructure and zero-waste methodologies in hybrid (physical-digital) fashion systems. Her practice-led research develops experimental fashion works for audiovisual media. She specializes in 3D fashion prototyping for over 10 years.

Cancellation policy:

Cancellation of participation in the Lifelong Learning Programme at the University of Applied Arts in Prague (hereinafter referred to as UMPRUM) by the participant:

If the participant fails to attend the course, the fee paid will not be refunded.

If the participant is unable to attend the course, he/she may be replaced by a substitute over 18 years of age. This change can be made no later than 2 hours before the course (by notifying the contact person by phone: Šárka Hastrmanová, 721 329 087). The paid fee is then transferred to the substitute.

Cancellation of participation in the course must be made by sending a cancellation notice to kurzy@umprum.cz. We will then refund the participation fee or a prorated portion of it, according to the following rules:

a) cancellation 30 days or more before the course - 100% of the fee is refunded.

b) 21 - 29 days before the course - 50% of the fee will be refunded

c) 11 - 20 days before the course - 30% of the fee will be refunded

d) 10 days or less before the course - 0% of the fee

The date of the cancellation e-mail is decisive. The administrative fee for cancellation of the course by the participant is 150 CZK. This amount will always be reduced by the refunded course fee (or its proportional part).

If the course is cancelled by UMPRUM (due to illness of the lecturer or other serious reasons):

a) the participant may attend the seminar on an alternative date to be determined by UMPRUM, or

b) the participation fee will be refunded in full by bank transfer to the account from which the seminar was paid, or

c) the fee may be used for another free course as agreed with the participant.

Ineke Siersema  (Lecturer MA / Trainer) In 3D Digital Fashion Design and Technology

Pedagožka s 25 letou praxí na AMFI, tvůrkyně a konzultantka vzdělávacích programů v oblasti 3D módního designu a prototypování. Její misí je propojovat vzdělávání a průmysl.

 

Žil J Vostalová

Vizuální umělkyně a designérka. Pracuje s různými médii, primárně se věnuje tvorbě digitálních oděvů určených pro audiovizuální i fyzické výstupy. V módní tvorbě se zaměřuje se na bezodpadové střihy a techniku asambláže materálů z druhé ruky. Svět chápe prizmatem látky, v němž rozpad tradičních forem vnímá jako kreativní princip. Rozvíjí pojem PhyGital Fashion™, který se věnuje konvergenci tradičních textilních metod s využitím digitálních technologií. Působí v Praze a v doktorandském programu Výzkum a teorie audiovize na FAMU zkoumá průsečíky textilního koloniálního odpadu se vznikající digitální infrastrukturou. Společně s Lucií Rosenfeldovou vede ateliér volného umění 3, Umění a technologie.

Storno podmínky:

Zrušení účasti na programu Celoživotního vzdělávání na Vysoké škole uměleckoprůmyslové v Praze (dále jen UMPRUM) ze strany účastníka:

Pokud se účastník na kurz nedostaví, uhrazený poplatek se nevrací.

Pokud se účastník nemůže kurzu zúčastnit, může být zastoupen náhradníkem starším 18 let. Tuto změnu lze provést nejpozději do 2 hodin před konáním kurzu (telefonickým oznámením kontaktní osobě: Šárka Hastrmanová, 721 329 087). Uhrazený poplatek je pak převeden na náhradníka.

Zrušení účasti na kurzu je nutné provést zasláním oznámení o zrušení na adresu kurzy@umprum.cz. Poté vracíme účastnický poplatek nebo jeho poměrnou část, dle následujících pravidel:

a) zrušení účasti 30 a více dní před konáním kurzu – vracíme 100 % z výše poplatku

b) 21 – 29 dní před konáním kurzu – vracíme 50 % z výše poplatku

c) 11 – 20 dní před konáním kurzu – vracíme 30 % z výše poplatku

d) 10 a méně dní před konáním kurzu – 0 % z výše poplatku

 

Rozhodující je den zaslání emailu o zrušení účasti. Administrativní poplatek za storno kurzu ze strany účastníka činí 150 Kč. O tuto částku bude vždy poníženo vrácené kurzovné (nebo jeho poměrná část).

Dojde-li ke zrušení kurzu ze strany UMPRUM (pro nemoc lektora nebo jiné vážné důvody):

a) účastník může navštívit seminář v náhradním termínu, který stanoví UMPRUM, nebo

b) účastnický poplatek bude v plné výši vrácen bankovním převodem na účet, ze kterého byl seminář uhrazen, nebo

c) poplatek je možné využít na jiný volný kurz dle dohody s účastníkem.
