Rector of the Academy of Art, Architecture and Design in Prague, nám. Jana Palacha 80 announces under Section 77 of Act No. 111/1998 Coll., on Higher Education and on Amendments and Additions to Other Acts and the valid internal regulations on the selection procedure for academic staff a selection procedure for the following position of academic staff:
Head and Assistant of the Architecture I studio with a focus on sustainable architecture
As part of the institutional development strategy, the Academy redefines the A1 with an emphasis on sustainable architecture. Candidates should clearly and originally articulate their teaching concept revolving around Green Deal issues in the context of the specific academic environment of the Academy. The proposed programme should anticipate the design, methods and discourse of architecture addresing the contemporary global challenges and should be capable of producing prototypes of applicable green solutions.
Requested Credentials:
- Post-gradual degree (at least a Master's degree) in the field;
- A significant track record in architectural experience;
- Communication strategy for the studio teaching conducted in Czech and English (proof of language efficiency or proposed measures assuring that the bilingual standard is met);
- Teaching experience welcome;
- Integrity.

Selection procedure details:
The qualifications of the candidates/applicants will be assessed by an expert committee appointed by the Rector on the basis of the documents submitted and the public lecture that is part of the procedure. The final results of the selection procedure will be communicated to all candidates within 14 days after the end of the selection procedure. The date of the selection procedure will be published on the usual channels.
